CMS 2019

The question regarding the cleaning processes of the future will play a central role at CMS 2019. The challenges are manifold, and include the origin of new business models that have the potential to fundamentally change the sector.

Cleaning today can no longer be considered a rigid, isolated process. In the context of digitalisation, data help to determine actual requirements in order to be able to react at short notice to dirt in a building. Cleaning thus becomes more efficient, comprehensible and customer-friendly, and quality reaches a new level. We have extended our digital portfolio with the "ONE" platform, with which service contractors for building services can depict all business processes digitally and work more efficiently.

Another great trend for the future is battery-powered machines, with which cleaning will be possible practically everywhere and independently of local conditions – at the same time resulting in time savings of up to 25% compared with machines with cables. At the same time, they will improve the working conditions of cleaning staff by making daytime cleaning a genuine alternative.

At CMS, Kärcher will present its new battery platform which is being constantly expanded.
